I am a passionate software engineer and consultant proficient in the field of software architecture. I have a vast experience in messaging systems, business process management, high-throughput processing and enterprise service bus technologies. For the last few years I have been working on numerous assignments fulfilling a range of roles, particularly dealing with design and development of small to large scale systems, mostly on the JVM.
I have earned a Masters Degree in Computer Science and hold several technical certifications. My spectrum of activities includes a part-time involvement in conceptual research on the topic of Service Oriented Architecture. I have co-authored an article on Enterprise Service Bus monitoring published in the “IEEE Transactions on Service Computing” magazine. Prime Minister’s Award and the Polish Information Processing Society’s Award complete my strong academic background.
I strive to integrate and utilize open-source technology to commercial environments. I am very keen on tutoring, presenting and live coding. I have already spoken at several middle-size conferences and JUG events in Europe. Apart from that, I’m also active on other fronts: I develop my own Open Source projects, contribute to existing ones; I am a member of the WJUG and I regularly visit various IT events in Europe and overseas.
